Strawberry festival time in Southern California
It’s strawberry festival time in Southern California!
I purchased a few baskets of strawberries at a local stand, which reminded me of a few cool strawberry festivals coming up in the next two months.
One of the popular ones is the California Strawberry Festival held in Oxnard, California. This year’s event takes place on May 21 and 22, 2011 at the Strawberry Meadows of College Park in Oxnard. I’ve never been to it, but a few family members have and they enjoyed it.
Another one is the Garden Grove Strawberry Festival. Held on May 27-30, 2011 in the City of Garden Grove. This is a big three day event with lots of activities for the family.
By the way, the strawberries were delicious. Three baskets only lasted a day and half in my house, time to go out and get more.
